Copper Tubing - TYPE L Coils

Type L copper tubing is the industry standard for domestic and commercial water lines, HVAC, solar systems, fire protection, and LPG applications. With a thinner wall than Type K but thicker than Type M, it offers a strong balance of pressure capacity and cost-efficiency—perfect for most above-ground plumbing and HVAC work.

We offer Type L in coils (OD-measured for refrigeration use) and hard lengths. Ordering is based on nominal ID (e.g. selecting 1/2″ yields 0.625″ OD w/ 0.040″ wall). ASTM B88-certification, Alloy C12200, and NSF 61 compliance are standard across all items.
